Spring flowers in DC

I have been really, really busy lately (visiting Kansas and New York in the last two weeks!) and am now really behind on my blog posts. Spring is definitely here in DC and the flowers in our neighborhood and on the Mall are in full bloom. The cherry blossoms have come and gone, but they were really beautiful during the brief time they were in bloom.

I will post about my trips soon--Carlos and I also attended an after-hours dinner at the Natural History Museum, which I will post about next!
