I spent a day in Seattle with Molly while I was home and it was so much fun! Molly lives in the totally rad neighborhood of Capitol Hill where there are tons of cool shops, movie houses, art museums, coffee shops, and thrifting places. I took the bus from Redmond and met Molly at Westlake Center downtown where we ate an awesome brunch at one of her regular hang-outs.
After some nice brunch, we wandered to Molly's house to drop off stuff before heading back out to the Fremont Farmer's Market.
We gazed at all the crafts and vintage stuff -- Molly bought the best necklace of a salmon named Curt ever -- and snacked our way through town. After that, we bussed back to Capitol Hill and visited some of my favorite thrift stores (Red Light), then enjoyed the beautiful weekend weather in a nearby park.
That night, we saw a cool movie about advertising at a little movie house near Molly's neighborhood. After that, we crashed at Molly's place, ate some chilaquiles, and watched Kids in the Hall before going to sleep.
The next morning, we stopped for coffee at a cute coffeehouse called Stumptown on our way to Molly's office building. We parted ways here and I walked back to Westlake Center to catch the bus to Redmond. It was so great to see Molly again after YEARS!!
